Paving Stones

There are 3 main types of pavers, each with their own unique characteristics and uses, along with several specialty types.

Concrete pavers are great for retaining walls and as driveway pavers. Stone pavers are beautiful and durable indoors and for creating outdoor living spaces. Classic brick pavers are great along walkways and for framing other materials. We also have experience with rubber pavers for horse barns or playgrounds and honeycomb pavers for eco-friendly rainwater management.

Additionally, most of these paver types also come in both interlocking and permeable variations. The main difference between these variations is the space between each brick - they both allow water to seep between the stones and be absorbed back into the ground but one has the look of a solid surface and the other allows pebbles, moss or grass to grow between the pavers.

Regardless of the type of paver you choose, they can be laid out in almost innumerable designs, creating any pattern that comes to mind. The most common patterns include stack bond, running bond, herringbone and basketweave - each with their own set of variations and applications. Pool Deck Pavers

But do be aware that while you're having fun splashing around in the pool, your pool deck is being exposed to chlorine and salt, and there are chances of slipping or falling when getting out. Our pool pavers are naturally slip-resistant and their dense, low-absorption material helps either absorb moisture or direct it to drain systems - meaning you will not have to think about cleaning up puddles of stagnant water. And since our pool deck pavers are so durable, they will withstand wear and tear caused by heavy foot traffic, chlorine, and salt remarkably well for years.  

The material above the pool tile line covering the top of the pool structure is called "pool coping" and is used to distinguish the structure of the pool from the pool decking around it.  Coping also helps to frame the pool much like a frame of a painting.
